Terms and Conditions
Price Policy, Deposits, Invoicing and Final Payment
All trip prices that are advertised on the Excursion Escapes website at the time of booking and do not include airfare. All trips are priced per person. Prices are subject to change before booking without notice. If you choose to use our payment plan option, you must submit a non-refundable, non-transferable, per-person deposit (equivalent to the first month’s installment payment or other amount determined by Excursion Escapes in its sole discretion) at the time of booking to reserve your space. Excursion Escapes will send you invoices for the remaining balance. PayPal and credit card payments are allowed and excepted.
Once required deposit is made you are now acknowledging that you have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions. Upon making your deposit and payment has been received and processed by Excursion Escapes or our payment platform partner website you will receive confirmation of your booking via email.
Excursion Escapes may send you additional emails with the payment terms and details of the trip after initial deposit of payment. Each traveler is responsible for verifying their information and notifying Excursion Escapes of any discrepancies or errors. If there is an error Excursion Escapes will send a revised invoice to reflect the correct pricing. Excursion Escapes may cancel your booking if the final payment is not received by the due date without a refund. Final payment is due one month before the start of the trip date. All payments made after the initial 48hr deposit are non-refundable.
1. Changes.
Excursion Escapes reserves the right to make changes to any and all planned details of the trip (which may include without limitation changes to the types and/or timing of activities available during the trip, items and/or services included with the trip, accommodation, the itinerary, and/or the nature of the trip) if, in Excursion Escapes discretion, Excursion Escapes deems it necessary to do so due to conditions that may be hazardous, dangerous, or otherwise adverse or threatening, if an act or omission of a third party prevents any such aspects of the trip or any portion of the trip, or for any other reason considered commercially necessary by Excursion Escapes. You will not be eligible for any refunds of any amounts based on any of these changes by Excursion Escapes.
2. Cancellations/Refunds.
Excursion Escapes reserves the right to cancel your reservation if your total payment is not received on or before the payment due date. You will not be eligible for any refunds of any amounts paid toward your trip. Excursion Escapes reserves the right to cancel the trip prior to the departure date in the event an insufficient number of travelers are confirmed for the trip or for any other commercial reasons in Excursion Escapes sole discretion. If such an event occurs, you will receive a full refund of the amount you paid to Excursion Escapes. Excursion Escapes is not responsible for cost such as planning costs, airfare, travel documents, acts of God, unexpected illness such as Covid-19, any other losses or claimed damages for person items and travel insurance not purchased through Excursion Escapes. Excursion Escapes may cancel or reschedule a trip for any reason. In the event a trip is completely canceled and not rescheduled by the company, Excursion Escapes will refund the amount received from you. Excursion Escapes has no obligation to reschedule the trip. Excursion Escapes will not be responsible for any additional costs, or any fees incurred by you due to the cancellation or rescheduling of a trip. The cost of airline tickets or other travel arrangements, not made by Excursion Escapes will be the sole responsibility of the traveler. For this reason, Excursion Escapes advises that every traveler gets travel insurance which covers trip cancelation. Due to our agreements with our partnered venders, if you are unable to attend a scheduled tour due to sudden illness or lateness, we will not be able to give you a refund if you are unable to attend
All cancellations must be communicated in writing and emailed to info@excursionescapes.com A full refund, not including deposit and minus credit card processing fees, will be issued if your cancellation request is received by Excursion Escapes within 48 hours after booking a trip. No refunds will be given to the traveler after 48 hours of the trip booking with Excursion Escapes.
Age Requirements
All travelers booking with Excursion Escapes must be twenty one (21) years of age You must represent that you are over the age of twenty one (21) at the time of booking. Travelers found to be under the age of (21) before or after booking trip will be cancelled and no refund will be given.
Assumption of risk and Injury.
You understand that serious accidents may occur during physical activities and that participants can sustain fatal and/or serious personal injury. You may also be visiting places where the political, cultural, and geographical attributes of the location present risks and physical challenges that are greater than those present in your country of residence. It is your own responsibility to familiarize yourself with all possible relevant travel information in connection with your participation in the trip. Understanding and in full consideration of the foregoing, you agree to assume full and complete responsibility solely and exclusively for and the risks inherent in travel and engaging in Physical Activity which may include injury, death, property damage, and/or any other kind of Liability, whether foreseen or unforeseen, which may occur during your participation in the trip. You acknowledge that your decision to participate in the trip is made in full consideration of the foregoing information and that you solely and exclusively assume the risks involved with participating in the trip. IN NO EVENT will Excursion Escapes be liable or responsible for any injuries or liabilities arising from or in connection during the participation of the trip. If the traveler sustains any injuries while participating in the trip, you agree to assume and accept all financial obligations for all medical costs you incur.
Air Arrangements
Travelers must purchase their own airline tickets to the travel destination. Excursion Escapes will not arrange air transportation and shall not be responsible or liable for a traveler’s airfare, airline ticket, or air travel arrangements. All issues with your air travel shall be resolved with the respective airline on which you are ticketed. In the event the airline cancels, reschedules, or delays a flight for any reason or you miss your departure flight or connection, no refunds will be provided by Excursion Escapes for missed portions of the trip. You are fully responsible for any additional expenses you may incur prior to joining the trip if you miss your departure flight or connecting flight. Excursion Escapes recommends all travelers purchase travel insurance with provisions to cover unforeseen and unexpected expenses.
Travel Insurance
Excursion Escapes travel packages include travel insurance. The insurance covers the cost of trip cancellations, including Covid-19, flight delays and cancellations, loss of employment, and accidents and illness suffered by you that would prevent you from traveling on your booked trip or that may occur during the trip. Excursion Escapes recommends purchasing additional coverage to cover any money you may have spent prior to your scheduled trip departure and additional medical. Excursion Escapes is not personally responsible for any losses you incur and/or sustain, or mentioned expenses and all claims must be filed with our partnered insurance provider.
Videography and photography
Photographs and video appearing on Excursion Escapes and partner websites are used solely as a representation and to promote business. Photos and video will be taken of the travelers, activities, and attractions. By booking a trip with Excursion Escapes, you agree to grant us permission to use photos and videos taken of you during the trip by our hired photographer and videographer on our website and social media platforms for marketing purposes only. Excursion Escapes will make the pictures and videos available to travelers as part of the trip cost.
